Army To Begin Massive Hardware Movement To Sambisa,Southern Kaduna

The Nigerian Army has said, that it will begin massive movement of troops and military hardware across the country, between March and April.
The destinations of the personnel and equipment, will be Sambisa Forest and Southern Kaduna, where hundreds of people were killed recently by unidentified gunmen, and parts of Plateau and Bauchi states.
The disclosure was made at the Army Headquarters (AHQ), Tuesday by the Chief of Training and Operations, Major General David Ahmadu.

According to Ahmadu: “The Nigerian Army has lined up a number of training activities in the current training cycle of 2017.
“First on our agenda is the Nigerian Army Small Arms Championship, otherwise known as NASAC.
“It is significant to note that this Championship, which comes up in March 2017, will be the first in 7 years, and it will be held in the Sambisa Forest.
“Closely following the conduct of the NASAC is EX HARBIN KUNAMA 11. EX HARBIN KUNAMA 11will be held in the North West geopolitical zone. Specifically in Southern Kaduna, Birnin Gwari…and contiguous areas in Plateau State…”
